Business Organization and Transactions;  Family entities and estates; Real Estate; Oil and Gas.  My practice has run the gamut of landowner legal services from hunting and grazing leases, pipeline rights-of-way, sand, gravel and caliche mining leases, Oil, Gas and Mineral leases and litigation, ad valorem tax issues.  Emphasis has been in the area of urban land development and related issues.

Real Estate Investment and Development: Over my entire legal career through the practice of law, I have been engaged as an attorney, have invested in and have acted as a managing partner-project coordinator in numerous real estate development projects.  Some of the development projects and commercial real estate in which I have been a hands on investor include:

  • Lago Del Mar:  105 acre mixed-use development in Laredo, Texas. Multi-Family residential and commercial. Includes apartments, condominiums, commercial strip centers and U.S. Post Office.
  • Unitec Industrial Park: an 825 acre industrial park in Laredo, Texas.
  • West Laredo Investments, Ltd.: 1,350 acre industrial development in Laredo, Texas.
  • IH-35 Business Park: 35 acre retail center in Laredo, Texas anchored by Lowe’s; an automobile dealership, bank, furniture store and hotel.
